I have what I think is a pimple right below my bottom lip. Now my lip is swollen right above where the pimple?

Is this even possible. Could a pimple below my lip cause my lip to swell? It seemed the pimple came first, then the swollen lip. Could this not be a pimple? What can I do about it?

You may want to buy an over the counter medicine such as abreva (approximately $19) at the store. It is costly, but it does help in the length of time the cold sore is present. If the cold sore is really infected, then you may need to seek a doctor for a prescription.
