I have a Purple Lump on my face, is it an unbroken Pimple?

I had acne a while ago, so i have some acne lotion stuff, but the other day I noticed a pimple on my face and above it a small purple lump, which I%26#039;m led to assume is an unbroken pimple, anyone can confirm/deny/clarify?|||I had one of these purple pimples once. It%26#039;s basically a major cyst. I hate to scare you, but if you don%26#039;t go to a dermatologist it can lead to a scar. There will always be a bump there...not colored (thank god) but def. a bump. They can inject whatever it is they use directly into it to bring down the swelling. In the meantime, don%26#039;t pick at it! Use lots of warm compresses on it and get to a dermatologist.|||Could be a boil.
