I have a pimple that wont rise to the surface what is it?

i thought it was a boil, its on my nose. my nose just feels a little tender in one spot and that it. it has no visible apperance. ive been applying a warm compress and i think it made it slightly less tender but im not sure. it only hurts when i press it. what could it be? its been more or less the same for the last 3 days. i would think its just a really large cyst or something but iv had that before and it hurt more and was really red. what could be up and how should i treat it?|||it could still be a cyst have your doctor take a look at it. I have had 4 of these things and my doctor calls them internal pimples. The other possibility an insect bite?
