Should i use Clean %26amp; Clear (which one it has so many options) Or Clearsil Ultra or any other brand u know . Pls say which is good for my skin and also for pimple problem|||Origins has nice products. They%26#039;re kinda pricy, but they are really gentle on your face. Or you can try clean and clear for combination skin for a less pricy product but with about the same quality.|||Proactiv!!! I love it!!! Can%26#039;t go a day without it! You see and feel the results immediately!!!!|||Try The Body Shops Tea Tree Oil line of Facial Products.
It worked for me. ( after trying ProActiv, Aveeno, Acnefree, a host of Neutrogena stuff, Differen gel and plenty of others).
You just gotta keep trying till find what works for you. Good Luck|||Proactiv i have used it for about a year and my face is so much clearer but you must use it twice a day in morning and before bed or you will be just wasting money . it does cost more about 56$ or so, and they have places in the middle of the mall where u can buy it now. get the 4peice set cleanser lotion mask and the step you put on after the cleanser (cant think whats it called) youll love ur face again and a few weeks|||usedaveeno bar (clensing) and then finish with face cream.. it really helps.
proactive dosent work too well.. it works if u use it everyday but once u run out or forget to use it, it makes more pimples pop up.. also the oatmeal in the aveeno helps combination/oily skin. TRUST i HAD the same problem|||Oil of Olay foaming cleanser... worked for me|||USE LAVA SOAP. IT WILL GET RID OF PIMPLES|||Best one is called Effaclar and is french from La Roche Possay.
My dermatologist recommended and I love it. But you will have to buy it online.|||There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html|||Clean %26amp; Clear and Clearisil Ultra are both not worth it. They are cheap and htey do not work. Try the Proactive exfoliating face wash, there is no need to buy the toner and moisturizer, they do nothing. The toner does nothing, and the moisturizer is way to oily. Use the Proactive exfoliating face wash and then moisturize with Morning Glow by Johnson %26amp; Johnson. It comes in a small white bottle with an orange top, and you can buy it at any drug or grocery store for about $4.|||There are many good inexpensive cleansers and moisturizers on the market, and can be found over the counter...
-Cetaphil (which is actually a favorite of skin care professionals %26amp; Physicians)
-Proactiv (But becareful not to overcleanse your face, I%26#039;ve seen this product dry out many skin types when cleaning becomes excessive)
-Neutrogena is also a good brand
Salyclic Acid is the usual chemical used in a lot of the Clearasil, and Clean %26amp; Clear products...it%26#039;s great at getting rid of acne, but - due to your skin being dry...it%26#039;s might not be the best choice.
If you want to use products like that, it would be best to just treat the problem area(s) only.|||No i recommend 100% Pears Transparent soap. Its one of the best things in the world. Its natural, wont clog pores, evens out your skin tone, smells great for man or woman. Its great for the body too. It worked wonders on my stretchmarks on my tummy after i had a baby. Do the research on Andrew Pears he is the one that made the soap. Yes its great for pimple prevention also. You can purchase it just about anywhere. I bought mine at BIGLOTS. By the way it contains Glycolic acid.|||proactive works really good you can now get it in some malls but you can still order it off the tv|||use garnier|||I have combination and sensitive skin, and I swear by Neutrogena. I find that it works well and have never had a problem with it. Try it, it%26#039;s not too costly and it has great results!|||my skin is like urs and i also had the pimple problem and i used clean and clear which is great , very gentle and it helped with my pimple prob also . what ever u use never use ordinary soap the ones with scent on ur type of skin coz its chemicals are one of the reasons of the appearing of pimples|||If you have pimples, it means that there is bacteria trapped underneath your skin due to blockage. If your skin is a combination of dry and oily, the combination can be harsh. The overactive oil glands produce oil and dirt that are trapped under the dry skin.
First, begin with either Purpose or Cetaphil soap. Clean %26amp; Clear is fine, what you are looking for are words like %26quot;non-comedigenic%26quot;, which means it will not clog pores, and %26quot;benzoyl peroxide%26quot; which is an acne solution. You may be overwashing your skin, thus aggrevating the dryness. Keep hydrated, drink lots of water and stay out of the sun. Moisturize with a non-comedigenic ((try Neutrogena non-comedigenic oil free moisturizer with Sunscreen), and then top it off with a topical solution that includes Benzoyl Peroxide (try Oxy 10 or Clean and Clear Personel 10). The maximum strength is usually 10%. It has the same ingredients as Proactive, but it%26#039;s not nearly as expensive (they have to pay Britney and Jessica to do those promos you know). Benzoyl Peroxide is by far the most effective solution to fight acne. Be careful, though, it can be very drying so only put it on the acne, not on the surrounding skin.
If you still feel your skin has an uneven tone and still prone to dry spots, move up to using products with Glycolic Acid. The stronger the better. Unfortunately, the best are through prescription. There is a company that my dermotologist recommended and I have to say I%26#039;m pretty crazy about it. It%26#039;s called Forte MD. It has Glycolic Acid and you start with level 1 and move up to level 2, and 3. Three is pretty strong. My skin has never looked better. It%26#039;s softer and very %26quot;dewey%26quot;, and my acne is pretty non-existent. Glycolic Acid and Alpha Hydroxy Acid make you extremely senstive to the sun, so wear sunscreen and a hat!
Also, you need to stay out of the sun and decrease your stress, as these cause adult acne or rosacea. Rosacea looks like acne, but you cure it a different way. If it is rosacea, talk to your dermotologist for a prescription.|||my suggestion is to use more gentler products. I used to use harsh products for acne that are all medicated but too much of these medicines are way too harsh for ur skin. One or two is fine though. I鈥檝e used stuff from proactive, acnefree, medicated cleansers, expensive department store stuff like sheseido, differin, duac, etc. none of them worked very well for me. Most of them made my skin worse.
i have oily, acne-prone skin too. and i used to have a scatter of pimples all along my forehead too. but now it stopped and currently i only have two tiny whiteheads on my chin (barely noticeable).
But I have some acne scars on my cheeks and, thank goodness, they are actually fading away in a reasonable pace. i also, have some rough patches on my skin leftover from acne scars but they are becoming as soft as the rest of my skin with help from my skin products.
i tried the neutrogena acne mark fading peel. that didn%26#039;t do anything for me at all... except maybe exfoliate my skin (and kinda irritated it too cuz my skin turns all red when i wash it away).
bottom line: its expensive and does not work.
i read some people%26#039;s reviews on it online and it didn%26#039;t work on them either.
so i stopped using that and started using some new products... and my acne scars are amazingly slowly fading away! i dont noe which product is doing this- it could be all of them!
for the dark marks (acne marks), use AMBI skin lightening cream sold at drugstores, target, walmart, etc. for around $4.99. IMPORTANT: only put the cream DIRECTLY on the scar and the scar only! if u just spread it all over a certain part of ur face, it will turn into a blotchy mess and will take a while for it to return to ur normal skin color!
Here are the products I am currently using that has been treating my skin like a miracle:
cleanse with morning burst cleanser by clean and clear in the morning and oxygenating fizzing cleanser at night (also by clean and clear). use cooling daily pore toner by clean and clear and do not use an astringent which will strip away natural oils and cause ur face to produce more oil than needed.
use an oil-free moisturizer with spf 15 and above for day (purpose dual moisturizer or clean and clear morning glow moisturizer). use dual action moisturizer by clean and clear for night.
use persa-gel 10 for breakouts and pimples.
and use a clay mask containing sulfur once or twice a week (more on days of breakouts). try queen helene mint julep masque. or proactive refining mask. U can also spottreat and dab on a spot of it directly on ur pimples without rubbing it in. just dab lightly! and leave it on overnight. it should become smaller, less red, less noticeable, or disapear completely the next morning.
exfoliate with the Neutrogena invigorating foaming scrub only once a week.
If u use makeup, use only oil-free and water-based foundation (but I suggest u not use foundation at all because oil-free or not, it will clog ur pores), and oil-free powder and concealer. Try getting one that contains acne-fighting ingredients (look at some Neutrogena products).
DO NOT use toothpaste or deodorant or any of those weird %26quot;remedies%26quot;!! they are only myths and will only ruin ur skin condition even more! stick with things that are MEANT for ur face.
Also, after I washed my pillow and blankets (that I hadn鈥檛 washed for a few weeks), my skin stopped breaking out so much everytime I wake up in the morning. I realized that wherever I put my face on the pillow, I wake up the next morning with a huge red pimple right on that spot where my face was on the pillow! So wash it every week or as much as possible. And also wash ur towel. Don鈥檛 use a washcloth because it collects bacterias everytime u wipe ur face with it and it gets all over ur skin鈥?unless u wash it after every single time u use it. Instead use tissue paper, toilet paper, or paper towels to blot ur face dry.
i hope that helps! :]|||try this it may help - Aveeno Clear Complexion facewash or Clean and Clear.
