Omg, i feel a pimple coming on , and i have a date tomorrow night!?!?

I feel a pimple coming on on my forehead. It%26#039;s not big, it%26#039;s not noticable, but it%26#039;s a tiny bump right now. Should I just wash my face very well with my cleanser to get ALL of my makeup off and apply my prescribed medicine? If I clean my skin very well, will that help?|||toothpaste will dry it out and stop it forming|||There are lots of ways on how to clear up (or hide) a pimple. Try these steps:

1. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser. Pt dry with face towel.

2. Get a facial toner to %26quot;dry%26quot; up the zit.

3. Dot a small amount of concealer to hide the zit.

If it is red:

1. %26quot;Freeze%26quot; the zit by applying ice cubes covered in towel (make sure that both the ice and the towel is clean)

2. Do this for 2 to 3 minutes. Do not linger on too long for it will onlt cause too much numbness.

3. Dab a facial toner to remove excess oil and dirt on the pimple

4. Use a concealer to cover the spot.

5. Smile! This is better. You are young, fresh and happy! By just smiling, you are already able to divert the attention to your personality than your zit. A smile is worth a thousand words. :)|||yea it%26#039;ll help. wash your whole face, then put a spot treatment on the pimple. if you dont have a spot treatment, you can put a bit of white toothpaste of the pimple... it%26#039;ll help to dry it out. pull your hair away from your face when you go to bed, and change your pillowcase so its clean. :)|||Just relax, it%26#039;s nothing to get all worked up over. It is a small blemish, that won%26#039;t change what happens on your date, and if your date likes you then theres no need to panic.

I promise nobody will cringe or shun you as a person.|||[L], I could finally find a solution for this problem, read this blog before taking any action

Thanks to this blog, it helped me a lot to find the best method.

Hope this helps|||if your date likes you it wont matter

besides that I think cleaning too much/too harshly can make it worse, but I%26#039;d reccomend you go with what you said|||take an ice cube and press it to your forhead. hold it there for about 60 secounds. that should reduce size and redness. Also zeno works but its like 100 bucks|||put eggwhite on it......let it dy.....then take it off....it works!! good luck|||* 1. Wash your face with acne soap like Clearasil. If you have really oily skin wash it twice, and dab dry with a towel (don%26#039;t rub)

* 2. prepare an ice pack using a zip lock bag, a thin towel some aluminum foil and of course Ice. Crushed is best but you can simply crush cubes if that%26#039;s all you got.

* 3. Put the crushed ice inside the aluminum foil and seal very well (interlock the edges by folding them into themselves) this will keep the ice cold and from melting too fast. put the foil inside the zip lock bag (again this helps it stay cold. You will need it to be freezing cold. (remove air before closing zip lock bag)

* 4. Wrap this inside a thin hand towel; this keeps the temperature cold but without being too cold.

* 5. After you wash your face put the ice pack on the area where the zit is. The aluminum foil and crushed Ice will form a mold around that area, if you have several zits you can make the ice pack bigger.

* 6. Hold the ice pack over the zip for AT LEAST 10 minutes, this freezes the pores closed forcing out the oil and dirt. The trick here is a.) force out the culprit that%26#039;s causing the zit, the dirt and oil that%26#039;s irritating the pores, and b.) to dissolve it so it doesn%26#039;t just spread to other surrounding pores and make the zit bigger. If you pop the zit it will get bigger because it%26#039;s like a volcano in overflowing oil into surrounding pores! if you must pop the zit do so while its bathed in Noxzema (challenging yes but safe lol)

* 7. After ten minutes apply Noxzema (or any medicated cleansing cream) on the whole face (just in case any oil escapes to avoid new zits) and rub in very well around the zit area. If everything goes well the zit should have shrank just a tad, and the Noxzema will absorb the oil and dirt.

* 8. Wash off the Noxzema and dab with a towel (again don%26#039;t rub!)

* 9. Apply a generous amount of Clearasil or any medicated acne cream like oxy etc.. Make sure its a cream. This will absorb any excess oils that seeped out when the pores closed and medicate the skin helping it heal.

* 10. Wait 4 hours and repeat. do this until the zit is substantially smaller. After two times you can go to bed and keep the Clearasil on all night and you may wake up with no zit! I did this in high school 15 years ago, when I had zits all over my face.. I made the aluminum foil ice pack into a whole face mold (and that wasn%26#039;t a fun experience freezing the whole face) and substantially removed or lowered in appearance the acne on my face.. If it gets to hurting don%26#039;t worry it will go numb shortly after and you wont even feel it there.. if you do the whole face thing you have to take breaks or you%26#039;ll get an ice cream headache *smile|||There is nothing worse then an outbreak of pimples a few days before a big event such as your wedding, the prom, or that first big date with someone you have always wanted to go out with. You go to sleep one night and the next morning there they are, a few red blemishes that you know are going to grow into ugly red bumps crowned with a little with pustule.

Where did they come from and how can you get rid of those pimples quickly? Pimples are a product of a bacterium that lives a normal peaceful life on the surface of your skin. Its name is Propionibacterium acnes.

This bacteria is normally harmless until it gets into the pores and hair follicles of your skin. Normally these pores and follicles have a substance called sebum that flows to the surface of the skin, keeping the bacteria out. If the hair follicles get plugged the bacteria get into the pore and start growing until the body reacts by sending white blood cells to deal with the infection. This causes inflammation and swelling and a pimple is born.

For most people the first reaction is to pop the little buggers. But this is not always the best choice for getting rid of pimples quickly. Popping pimples can actually cause more harm then good and can lead to more pimples.

Why? Think about it. A pimple is nothing more then a tiny little infection in the skins pores. By popping it you break down the protective barrier the body鈥檚 immune system has built to contain the infection. When you pop a pimple this barrier break down and the pus and bacteria can spread underneath the skin to form new pimples. Plus if you keep digging at a pimple you can end up with a nice looking scab and in some cases scars.

The best plan of action if you have to get rid of your pimples quickly is to actually hide their presence while the body naturally deals with the problem. Here are a few tips to help hide or conceal pimples.

1. Use a concealor 鈥?This is just basically a skin toned base makeup that will mask pimples from even the most discerning eye by blending it into the natural color of you skin.

2. Ice 鈥?Apply ice to the pimple a few times a day. This will reduce the swelling and make the pimple much less noticeable.

3. Toothpaste 鈥?Many people claim that toothpaste applied to a pimple before they go to bed can reduce the swelling and make the pimple nearly disappear by the next morning.

4. Drink water 鈥?Water lubricates and helps facilitate the removal of toxins from the body that may contribute to acne.

5. Use pimple cream 鈥?There are many over-the-counter pimple creams on the market today. They contain benzyl peroxide or salicylic acid that have been shown to help get rid of pimples. Many of them come in flesh colored tones, which helps conceal the pimple at the same time.

Getting rid of your pimples quickly is not always easy to do in a short amount of time. But with the tips given above you can hide your outbreak until your pimples disappear on their own.

Good luck with date!
